WINE CLUB
Wine Club + Tastings at the Grove
A new offering in 2026, the SCS Wine Club will include tastings from our local vineyard partners and information sessions about the wine, followed by an evening at the theater. The Wine Club will meet before the following evening performances:
- Tuesday, August 4 – Fences
- Tuesday, August 11 – Macbeth
- Tuesday, August 18 – Much Ado About Nothing
- Friday, September 18 – The Last Five Years
- Friday, September 25 – Private Lives
Tastings begin at 5:30 PM and end 30 minutes prior to curtain and include small pours of multiple wines to compare, plus one full pour of your favorite wine from the evening’s tasting.
Members also receive one free bottle of wine during the season, and two commemorative SCS wine glasses.
Wine Club FAQs
Do I have to join the Wine Club to do participate in a wine tasting?
No. You can pre-purchase a tasting with your ticket on the evenings that wine tastings are occurring. Look for the ticket options on the nights listed above to pre-purchase your tasting.
If I pay for a one-time tasting, do I get all the benefits of the Wine Club?
No. At each tasting night you will get to taste the wines available and get one full pour of your favorite from the evening’s tasting. Additional Wine Club benefits, like the free bottle of wine each season and the commemorative drinkware are for Wine Club members only.
Can I prorate the Wine Club if I only plan to attend a couple of the planned tasting nights?
No. If you don’t want to commit to the Wine Club schedule, you can purchase tastings as one-off events on the tasting nights listed above.
What if I'm a Wine Club Member and cannot make it to the Wine Club Nights?
You still get your free glass of wine for the evening. All one-time benefits, like your one free bottle of wine for the season and your commemorative wine glasses, apply independent of the night you come to the theater. You must show your Wine Club Membership to get your free glass of wine outside of Wine Club Nights.
I’m an SCS Theatre Member of a certain level who gets wine benefits with my membership. Does the Wine Club override my other membership benefits?
No. The Wine Club is in addition to your SCS Theatre Membership Benefits.
Can I come to the Wine Club Night and not stay for the show?
Yes. Please note that parking is limited and there is a fee associated with parking. “Last call” timing policy is enforced, and the tasting area is closed 30 minutes prior to show time.
Do I get free parking for the Wine Club?
No. Parking is $12/car with a pre-purchased parking pass, or $10 in cash at the gate. Parking fees are waived for cars with 4 or more passengers, and for certain levels of theatre membership.
