Join the Santa Cruz Shakespeare Book Club!
The Book Club 2026 program is here! We will be reading and discussing Much Ado About Nothing in February, and Macbeth in April. Sessions are held via Zoom.
Santa Cruz Shakespeare book clubs are not like traditional book clubs, but rather a behind-the-scenes look at the table work process our professional artists go through in the rehearsal room. PARTICIPANTS are assigned roles each week and we rehearse the play in three parts, with directors working with participants in the same way they do with actors during the summer season. AUDITORS get to watch this process and join in the lively chat and ending Q&As. Every book club member receives a copy of the Folger edition of the script from Santa Cruz Bookshop as part of their tuition.
Scroll down to see pricing for each piece, or a special discount for both. A limited number of scholarships are available for the book club. Contact education@santacruzshakespeare.org to get more information.
