Live auditions for the 2026 season will be held on the following dates:

• Santa Cruz:

Sunday, January 25, 11am - 6pm at the Veterans Memorial Building, 846 Front St, Santa Cruz, CA. No appointments necessary / signup day-of / don't feel pressed to line up first thing - everyone will be seen.

• Los Angeles:

Friday, February 6, 9am - 5pm at the Actors' Equity Building, 5636 Tujunga Ave, North Hollywood, CA. Appointments for Equity members through the AEA website / non-union can join the waiting list day of / every attempt will be made to see all actors, union and non-union alike.

Please prepare two contrasting pieces, at least one of them Shakespeare (yes, both can be Shakespeare). Songs / accompanist TBD.

Please send an email to auditions@santacruzshakespeare.org with the following:

1. 1. A link to an audition video uploaded to YouTube (no Vimeo, no Google Drive, etc). The video should be under three minutes with two contrasting pieces, at least one of them Shakespeare (yes, both can be Shakespeare). A brief slate is welcome but not necessary.
   2. An updated headshot and resume.
   3. Answers to the following questions:
      • Are you a member of Actors' Equity?
      • Where are you based?
      • Do you have access to local housing?
      • Do you have reliable transportation in California?
      • Do you have a driver's license?

Your video will not be watched if you don't follow the above instructions.
