Site Team

Help us prepare The Grove for our summer season (and close it up in the fall). Tasks could include gardening, weeding, raking, landscaping, cleanup, moving chairs around, and other maintenance. No special skills are required. It takes a good bit of work to ready The Grove for the season, and a few hours of volunteering can make a huge difference!

 

Events Team

Help us promote Santa Cruz Shakespeare in our community. Tasks include organizing special company events, greeting attendees, serving food, setting up and cleaning up, and staffing information tables. As we move into year-round progamming, our Events Team will also help us at other venues besides The Grove.

 

Patron Team (a.k.a. "Front-of-House")

Do you enjoy being around other people and helping out? Then join our Patron Team and help us take care of our patrons before, during, and after performances. Tasks could include welcoming and directing patrons, helping with tickets, parking, merchandise, or member benefits, tidying up after the show, and even exciting things like helping to raise and lower our big, billowy sunshade!

 

Company Team

Coordinating the housing and travel for all of our visiting artists is hard work. If you would be willing to give an artist a ride to or from the airport, or help with the occasional mail delivery, we'd be grateful!

 

Administrative Team

Are you good with computers or office work? Then consider helping out with tasks like data entry, phone calls, filing, mailing, and other clerical activities. Our small but mighty staff will greatly appreciate your help!

 

Specialized Teams

Do you have a skill you'd be willing to share that's not listed above?  For example, can you sew?  Create a website?  Install drywall?  Please tell us about your skills - we'd love to have you with us!
