Stage Carpenters

Under supervision of the Master Carpenter, the Stage Carpenter is responsible for building and painting sets/props and making facility improvements as directed by the Technical Director. 

The ideal candidate has relevant knowledge and experience, a can-do attitude, the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the company, a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds, work safely on a ladder, and be able to work outside. 

The position is full time from June 10, 2025 to July 3, 2025. The schedule is primarily Tuesday through Saturday. It is a contract position. The rate starts at $18 an hour.

Further season work is possible. We will need one Deck Chief which would extend the contract through September 28. 

Deck Chief

In conjunction with the Stage Management team and Production Manager, the Deck Chief plans and maps out movement of scenic elements for performances and the rep changeover and ensures that all safety issues affecting the production are managed appropriately.. They are responsible for overseeing the maintenance of scenery, set pieces, and properties during the run of each production. They will also manage the rep changeover. 

The ideal candidate has relevant knowledge and experience, a can-do attitude, the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the company, a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds, work safely on a ladder, and be able to work outside. 

The position is full time from July 1, 2025 to September 28, 2025. The schedule is primarily Wednesday through Sunday for tech rehearsals and performances. It is a contract position. The rate starts at $20 an hour.

Master Carpenter

The Master Carpenter leads a team tasked with building and painting sets/props and making facility improvements as directed by the Technical Director. 

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience in the field, experience as a team leader, a can-do attitude, the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the company, a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds, work safely on a ladder, and be able to work outside. 

The position is full time from June 10, 2025 to July 12, 2025. The schedule is primarily Tuesday through Saturday.  It is a contract position. The rate is $25 an hour. 

Wardrobe Crew

The Wardrobe Crew is responsible for the organization, care and maintenance of finished costumes as used in each production. They will provide hands-on assistance with costumes for actors in their dressing rooms and/or backstage.

The ideal candidate has relevant knowledge and experience, a can-do attitude, the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the company, a commitment to safety and professionalism, and can stitch.

Although the dressing rooms are indoors, the candidates must be able to work outside. 

There are two full time contract positions, one from July 1, 2025 to September 7, 2025 and one from July 1, 2025 to September 28, 2025. The rate starts at $16.50 an hour. 

Prop Artisan

Under the supervision of the Prop Master, the Prop Artisan duties include acquiring or manufacturing props by means of borrowing, purchasing or custom building. Manufacturing of props may include, but is not limited to carpentry, fabrication and forming of various material types, painting, decorating and finishing of various surface types, sewing and other manipulation of fabrics and other soft goods and modification of existing objects. 

The ideal candidate has relevant knowledge and experience, a can-do attitude, the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the company, a commitment to safety and professionalism, and time management skills.

The position is full time from June 10, 2025 to July 31, 2025. The schedule is primarily Tuesday through Saturday. Further season work is possible, including one week of strike. The rate starts at $16.50 an hour. 

Sound Engineer (A1)

The Sound Engineer (A1) is responsible for preparing soundboards, speakers, microphones, and other equipment for shows as well as maintaining the quality of sound throughout each performance. This position is also responsible for managing the sound department, addressing all tech notes, and working all performances.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of different types of sound equipment, microphones, audio mixing experience, a can-do attitude, the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the company, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds, work safely on a ladder, and be able to work outside. 

The position is full time from June 17, 2025 to September 28, 2025. It is a contract position. The rate starts at $21 an hour. 

Sound Engineer (A2)

The Sound Engineer (A2) is responsible for preparing soundboards, speakers, microphones, and other equipment for shows as well as maintaining the quality of sound throughout each performance.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of different types of sound equipment, microphones, audio mixing experience, a can-do attitude, the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the company, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds, work safely on a ladder, and be able to work outside. 

The position is full time from June 17, 2025 to September 28, 2025. It is a contract position. The rate starts at $17 an hour.
